The information and bibliographic resources this fine institution provides are used by staff, patrons, and scholars from all over the world. The Library’s collection of approximately 15,000 volumes and 2,000 files is available for on-site perusal by members and non members alike.
The Library is open to staff, interns, ICP members, and students during its regular hours. It is open to the public by appointment only. Admission to the library is completely free.
Members of the Friends of the Library become well acquainted with the Library through meetings with prominent photographers, authors, and publishers. In this forum, attendees can explore the art and technique of the photographic book. The committee works to increase the Library’s holdings and acts as an advocate for the expansion of its programs, services, and outreach.
