My sister-in-law was recently involved in a car accident that resulted in multiple injuries to her legs. It will be months before she can walk again. In fact, the doctors have told her that it will be at least six weeks before she can sit in a wheelchair. One visit to her in the hospital made me realize how bored she will be in just a few days. She has always lived an active lifestyle and now she can’t move. I’m picking up a Needlepoint Kit for her to work on while she is bedridden. Hopefully, learning a new hobby will keep her occupied at least for a short period of time.
