Lately I have seen several things on television about used car warranty scams, but I still want to make sure that I have some sort of coverage in case the car breaks down. My budget is pretty tight, and I can not afford to pay for expensive repairs. A friend from work bought extended warranty coverage from US Direct Protect and has not had any problems with them, but I have heard other people complain not only about them, but other companies too. My question is, if I check out the companies my dealership is recommending, am I pretty sure to get a warranty that will really cover me well?
