In my line of work we all drive 1/2 ton pickup trucks and on occasion have to haul around some of our product.s It’s pretty expensive stuff, and also quite dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands, so security is a bit of a worry. That’s why they insist that fiberglass bed covers are installed on all their trucks and have even had a decent locking mechanism installed on each cover. Since that day they have never had anything stolen, nor has any product fallen into the wrong hands, so I’d say it has been very much a successful initiative
