Real Estate News – Americans Still Worry About Foreclosure

According to the recent real estate news, only 5 percent of Americans plan to purchase a home in 2010 and 45 percent still worry that they or someone close to them will face the nightmare of foreclosure. This is also the reason why the other 45 percent worries about the rising interest rates, which may also lead to foreclosures in the future.
Home prices have really gone low this summer at a yearly pace of nearly 7 percent. However, with the high unemployment rate and foreclosure process clouding this picture, many economists argue whether or not the prices of home and properties will dip again.
