I had a tendency to lose things easily. This was especially the case when it came to jewelry. I still remember losing a ring I had gotten for my high school graduation a few years ago. Because I lost things so often, I did not buy myself new jewelry often. The exception to this was a beautiful pair of gold earrings that I found on my recent vacation. They were beautiful and I knew they would be a wonderful memento for my trip. I swore that this time I would keep a close eye on them and make sure they were not lost.
